Why the name Saint Tone?

"My real name is Tony Lavorgna, but people have

a very hard time pronouncing it correctly since it

has a silent "G". Friends would call me Tony Tone

in high school as a nick name. One day my friend

David Gilman said how about Tony St Tone. He

knew I was named after St Anthony after my Mom

had a very strong vision of the Saint. And so the

name just stuck."

Are you a  religious band?

"No. I was raised Roman Catholic, but I have gone

down a more spiritual path. Religion seems to separate people through their beliefs and spirituality seems to unite. I like writing songs that have to do with self empowerment and uniting our similarities."

Who's playing out live with you

supporting your new CD?

" I've got a great line up of professional musicians

working with me. The band line up changes depending

on the size of the show. Currently, The line up is:

Janie Tevere on keys and backing vocals,

Brian Radtke on Drums and Andy Gmelin on bass.

The following musicians are used on varoius shows

as needed:

Bela Wurtzler , Chris Tevere ,  David Scott Gilman , keith S, Todd  Edmonds, Francesco Medere &  Ben Zac . We also have Mick Weick as our soundman who has worked with everyone and is currently on the road with Tim McGraw."
