TAYLOR Guitars chooses Saint Tone!
Tony was one of the 9 artists asked by Taylor Guitars to try out their New Taylor GS Mini prototype travel guitar
before they lunch it to the public in July 2010.
It is bigger than the Baby Taylor and smaller than the average size but it delivers a Great Full sound.
The other 8 artists are Ted Nugent, Pat Monahan & Jimmy Stafford from the band TRAIN, Kevin Bacon, Zak Brown,
baseball pitcher Barry Zitto, film producer Bill Todman, and pro surfer Rob Machado. Taylor picked a diverse bunch
of players and Tony represents the indie artist on the go. Check out Tony's week long adventure in Costa Rica with
the new guitar in this YouTube clip. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbk2zIJ91dM

We flew out to San Diego, CA to perform several shows for the ASI Conference at the San Diego Conference Center where I got to meet Tony Robbins ( The Motivational Speaker) I've been listening to his CD's and reading his books for years. It was a lot of fun to stand next to him. I'm 6ft tall ; so you can see that he's a Giant! I also went to the Taylor Guitar Factory in El Cajon, CA to talk shop with AnR Rep Bob Borbonus and editor of Wood and Steel Magazine Jim Kirlin and catch up on the latest news about Taylor Guitars.
March 6th, 2010
Saint Tone performed at The 1st Annual Englewood Music Festival in Englewood, FL. I had several newspaper articles and a couple of radio interviews to help promote the show. It was a blast. Looking forward to next year's event.
March 8-15, 2010
For the 2nd year in a row Saint Tone performed several shows for The International Family Film Festival in Hollywood, CA. This was their 15th year. A special thanks to Stone Wall Mind for stepping up and helping out -a great San Diego band that performed with us. We have now been chosen as " the official band" for IFFF. We performed throughout the entire Awards Ceremony with Nancy Cartwright ( the voice of Bart Simpson ) as the host.
We also met 3 of China's hottest young child actors and played a spontaneous song with Shikoa Bi. We just went with the flow. Here's a YouTube clip of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umxFWjRreLQ&feature=related, and spent some time with Jen and Bill Farmer ( Bill is the voice of Goofy and many other Disney characters)
March 17-21, 2010
Saint Tone performed at the 15th annual Mannafest International Conference in Dallas Texas for the company Mannatech, Inc. We shared the stage with Andy Childs of the band Six Wire. Six Wire was part of the Next Great American Band competition on FOX TV. We had a great time in front of a packed house.
April 12-19, 2010
Saint Tone performed several shows in Costa Rica. The final show was at the University for Peace where students from around the world learn how to negotiate with governments through non-violence .
You can check out the adventure I had - from playing on the airplane at 37, 000 feet, in a cave under a waterfall - to an open air market, etc. The footage was shot as a promotional video sent to Taylor Guitars
as Tony tried out the New Taylor GS Mini travel guitar.
