New Solo CD in 2008
Tony has been writing recording original music
for a number of years. With 12 CD's to his credit, he's back in the studio
working on his 13th CD. " With Dave my guitarist moving back to San Diego, I
felt it was time to put out a solo CD again" Tony's last solo CD
was the 2004 release of "Rock Star". The New CD will be a variety mix
of styles and sounds. Taking influences from rock, pop, hip hop, and even
meditation CD's, Tony is pushing his boundaries as an artist. "On this CD, I
took a look at a lot of my song ideas and started picking songs that felt
good to me regardless of the style. On the last CD ( Saint Tone - 2006 on
SK2 Records) we were going for a pop/rock sound with 3:00 min songs
that fit a certain style. On this CD, I plan to have pop/rock, acoustic,
keys with hip hop drums, meditation, etc. I'm basically throwing out all the
rules and putting out a variety of sounds. The reaction I've received so far
on my demos is this sounds nothing like the last CD.
